For maximum safety of products, modern fruit storage facilities are equipped with ULO system (Ultra Low Oxygen), AC (atmosphere control), and DAC (dynamic atmosphere control).

AGM allows changing the composition of the 

gas environment in the storage chambers for apples and pears. Fruit cooling (0–4 ° C), a decrease in the level of oxygen and an increase in the level of nitrogen slow down the metabolism and the process of breathing of fruit. AGM chambers allow to preserve the freshness and quality of the fruit, as well as to increase shelf life.

The technology of storing apples and pears in a controlled environment has another great advantage: the fruits, after being transferred from the chamber to the room temperature conditions, can be stored without losses within 20-30 days.

Fruits are stored in refrigerators in containers, laid in stacks.

Scrubbers

Scrubber is an equipment for absorbing carbon dioxide, which is the product of fruit breathing. 

It contains a molecular sieve that retains carbon dioxide gas molecules when air is passed  from the storage chamber through an adsorber.
